MY LIFE — COMIC EDITION

I Didn't Want to Go - Comic Edition

Medical burnout, a two-hour drive, and the person who got me there anyway.

I didn’t want to go to pain management. Not because I don’t want help, but because after years of calls, appointments, tests, medications and explaining the same body to different doctors, seeking help can start to feel like another thing I have to survive. Sometimes medical burnout doesn’t look like giving up. Sometimes it looks like being too exhausted to keep asking.
